Chipping Hill Primary School

Throughout the school year pupils at Chipping Hill will experience an off-site visit to an external provider which is aimed at enriching the curriculum. These trips vary for each year group and can also change year on year.

Thorpe Woodlands adventure centre is a modern, purpose built outdoor centre that offers a wide range of challenging, fun and adventurous activities and excellent accommodation facilities.

They have indoor accommodation for up to 46 people, camping for 100+, 6 High Ropes activities, climbing tower, caves, mountain bike trails, 2 orienteering courses, archery range, kayaks, canoes, zip wires and much more.

The friendly team of staff enjoy sharing their passion, skills and enthusiasm for the outdoors with everyone who visits Thorpe Woodlands. When planning activities, they always do their best to accommodate your groups’ unique needs, abilities, hopes and fears in order to maximise opportunities for learning and development.
